01.What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser when you visit. They are widely used to make sites work properly, remember your choices, and give website owners useful information about how their pages are being used.

Cookies do not carry personal information on their own, but when combined with other data we hold about you, they can be associated with your account. You can control cookies through your browser settings or through the preferences panel on this page.

Cookies are not programs — they cannot run code or carry software.
